For the safety and health of all employees, guests and visitors, the Townsend Hotel has adopted a Tobacco/Smoke Free environment. Associates, vendors, guests, and visitors will no longer be permitted to smoke tobacco products on Townsend Hotel premises, including outdoor areas and sidewalks surrounding the Hotel. The use of disposable e-cigarettes and the re-chargeable e-cigarette systems is also prohibited on Townsend premises.
The policy does not obligate anyone to give up their use of tobacco products, but merely to refrain from smoking and using tobacco products on hotel grounds. It is our hope this policy will serve as an impetus for those who are ready to improve their health and well-being by giving up the use of tobacco permanently. For anyone interested in information, resources, and tools for smoking cessation, ask your physician, visit your local pharmacy, or visit http://smokefree.gov.
