Please find the terms and conditions for The Townsend  Hotel below.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking.

All rates and room types are subject to availability.

Reservation confirmations are provided solely for your convenience.  The Townsend Hotel retains official records of reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and room rates. In the event of any discrepancies or variations between this confirmation and our official records, The Townsend Hotel’s official records shall prevail. Tampering with a confirmation to alter the room rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and could have legal ramifications.

Cancellation is required by 12 noon the day before arrival, unless otherwise noted in the cancellation policy of the reservation.  Late cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of at least one nights room rate charges.

Some rate plans require a full prepayment at the time of booking.  These rate plans are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-changeable.  For these rate plans, once you make a reservation your credit card will be charged in full.

Some rate plans have special requirements at check-in.  Please verify in advance that you quality for the rate you have reserved.  The Townsend Hotel is not obligated to honor a rate if you do not quality, or do not have proof of qualification.

All no show reservations will be subject to a penalty fee of at least one night’s room and tax charges.

Should you choose to depart the hotel earlier than your reservation departure date, an early departure fee may apply.

In the event a guest reservation cannot be accommodated due to overbooking, or an unforeseen circumstance, The Townsend Hotel will attempt to accommodate the guest at a comparable property in the area for the night.

The Townsend Hotel does accept dogs.  A one-time pet fee of $150 plus tax, along with a $5 plus tax daily cleaning fee is required and is non-refundable.

The Townsend Hotel is a non-smoking property.  Should the hotel find evidence of smoking in the guest room a non-refundable fee of $250 plus tax will be charged to the credit card attached to the guest room reservation.

As a guest of The Townsend Hotel you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as indicated.  You also agree that you are fully responsible and shall pay all charges, fees, taxes and all other amounts due for your reservation.  Any violation of these conditions may result in cancellation of your reservation and a forfeiture of any monies paid for a reservation to The Townsend Hotel.
