The Clancy Room, a multi-use group dining, private meeting and intimate event space, is The Townsend Hotel’s newest luxury hospitality area. The overall feel of the interior exudes a timeless elegance with a touch of classic art deco styling.  

The exquisite style of the foyer complements the 5,000 square-foot Townsend Ballroom that graciously seats 320 guests. Comprised of four separate ballroom salons, each salon can be prepared individually for more intimate gatherings. 

The entrance from Merrill Street reveals an elegant 2,100 square-foot ballroom foyer featuring lavish marble floors, cherry wood paneling, and crystal chandeliers. This magnificent entrance to the Ballroom marks the beginning of your spectacular events.

Regency room is a unique and impressive 2,700-square-foot space. An optional dance floor and alcove for audio/visual equipment is perfect for social gatherings or special presentations.

Each Boardroom has a built-in retractable, motorized projection screen, that can be utilized in combination with a projector, along with a JBL speaker system for a professional meeting environment.

The traditional European interior design creates an ambiance suited equally well to corporate meetings or elaborate celebrations. Elevated ceilings feature custom Waterford chandeliers, while floor to ceiling windows (exclusive to Salon I) provide the option of natural light for a less formal event.

Salon II can accommodate parties of 15 to 120 guests in a more intimate version of The Townsend Ballroom.

Salon III mirrors Salon II and can accommodate parties of 15 to 120 guests.

When function is as important as comfort, we have everything from comprehensive, built-in, state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, high-speed internet access to special features for showcasing automobiles. Salon IV boasts the large display entry for vehicle display and satellite feed.

Accommodate 30 to 250 guests and enjoy the added benefit of the double air wall between Salons II & III when utilizing this space.

Take center stage with the two center sections of The Townsend Ballroom.  This space is equipped with the optional service of two drop down screens.
